Quality Control

Conduct inspections to ensure quality and integrity of construction, fabrication, and welding activities
Interpret engineering drawings and verify compliance during fabrication and structural assembly
Assess welding processes and conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds and critical components
Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle
Generate detailed inspection reports and submit daily documentation to project management
Develop quality control protocols for raw materials, in-process work, and finished products
Identify quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness
Track progress of fabrication and construction activities and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors
Resolve issues affecting quality or construction timelines in collaboration with project teams
Ensure calibration and proper functioning of all inspection equipment
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and team members
Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards
Work closely with project management to maintain adherence to project schedules and budgets
