IN_RBIN_Senior Engineer_Tooling Design Engineer_

The purpose of this position is to execute design & development of Jigs, fixtures, gauges & smart automation to meet internal customer requirements & schedules.

Processing of RFQ: Study requirements and gather customer inputs for design.

Develop concept proposals to offer technical RFQ inputs.

Submit proposals to finalize concepts with customer.

Estimate design efforts for cost estimation.

Participate in problem-solving with customers.

Key Result Areas / Indicators: Customer wish date Fulfillment, Tool Room performance KPI.

Design & Development: Co-ordination with customers for project understanding & design inputs collection.

Design Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges, Tools, Testing Equipment's & Automation and align scope with customers.

Design for Manufacturing meetings & final release. Coordinate with vendors for outsourced design.

Key Result Areas / Indicators: Skill Development of Associate as per Tool Room process requirement.

Department Coordination Activity:Active participation in trouble shooting during try-out and participation in commissioning at customer place Provide technical clarification for manufacturing team during execution of the project. Uploading and maintaining the drawings in WRENCH server and participate in External & Internal Audits.

Key Result Areas / Indicators: Audit preparedness to ensure 100% timely documentation, system Maturity and close of action points; Zero defects, Customer complaints, QMS - No NC/OFI

Qualifications

B.Tech./B.E. Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent

Relevant Experience: 23 Years

Additional Information

Knowledge:

* Advance Knowledge of different manufacturing processes, Assembly technology, Bosch Products &

processes

* Competent in GD&T, DFMEA, 8D technique, Quality Standards

* Competent in CAD-3D modeling, 2D Drafting (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD), Document Management

Tool, SAP

* Advance Knowledge in designing of Fixtures, Smart automation used in production areas like

Assembly, Machining, Testing etc.

Functional skills:

* Basic Knowledge of different materials, heat treatment processes

* Basic knowledge of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Basic electrical & Electronics, PLC, Automation,

Robotics

* Soft skills like communication, cooperation, networking, conflict management etc

* Digital Competency - Automation/ Robotics, AI, I4.0, IOT, data analytics, RPA etc
