Infrastructure Delivery Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Delivery & Deployment

• Execute and deliver complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and as per technical specifications.
• Perform configuration, deployment, and integration of network devices (routing, switching, firewalls), physical and virtual servers, and storage systems (SAN/NAS).
• Lead deployment and configuration of enterprise cloud services in Azure and AWS environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to implement and enforce security measures during all deployment phases.

Operational Efficiency & Automation

• Develop and implement automation and orchestration solutions (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform) to streamline infrastructure deployments and lifecycle management.
• Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to ensure solutions accommodate projected growth.
• Work with Operations teams to facilitate smooth handovers, including creating runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor and optimize system performance during and after deployment.
• Leverage AI tools to improve infrastructure deployment outcomes.

Support & Documentation

• Provide L4 troubleshooting and technical expertise for complex infrastructure issues; perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and support guides.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in infrastructure delivery and cloud engineering.
