Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IDQ, IDE, PowerCenter, and SQL/PLSQL, with a proven track record of at least three end-to-end IDQ implementations. This role requires strong data quality expertise and hands-on experience with both real-time and batch data integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end IDQ solutions, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, matching, and monitoring.
• Perform administration and configuration tasks for Informatica IDQ and Informatica Data Explorer (IDE).
• Integrate IDQ with upstream and downstream systems using real-time and batch processing methods.
• Develop complex mappings in Informatica PowerCenter to support ETL workflows.
• Work with Address Validation Tools such as Address Doctor, Trillium, or similar solutions.
• Tune performance for match/merge logic and resolve related issues.
• Implement data profiling and data quality dashboards for ongoing monitoring and improvements.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders on data governance and quality initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Informatica IDQ and IDE.
• Proficiency with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL; Java knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in data quality principles, strategies, and various data quality tools in the market.
• Experience integrating IDQ with other systems (batch and real-time).
• Familiarity with address validation/cleansing tools.
• Solid understanding of DBMS concepts and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize IDQ performance issues.

Good to Have

• Experience in data governance frameworks.
• Exposure to Java-based integration with Informatica.
• Certification in Informatica IDQ or related tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
