Industrial Engineer PhD

We are seeking experienced Industrial Engineers to join our AI training team on a freelance, remote basis. This role involves contributing domain expertise to annotate and improve AI systems in the field of manufacturing and production optimization.

You will use your knowledge of lean manufacturing, process automation, and systems optimization to train AI models that understand and solve real-world industrial challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and validate AI-generated data related to manufacturing processes, workflows, and systems.
• Provide expert insights on automation techniques, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Help develop and refine AI understanding of production system optimization.
• Collaborate with AI teams to review and improve data quality and domain accuracy.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Advanced academic background in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (PhD preferred).
• Familiarity with lean practices, process modeling, and supply chain systems.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or educational content creation is a strong plus.
• Prior exposure to AI, machine learning, or data annotation is desirable.
