India & South Asia Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate key compliance risks in the ISA region and develop mitigation plans.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and policies in the ISA region, ensuring compliance with ABC, privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and competition law.
• Actively engage with senior business leaders in ISA, serving as a strategic partner for compliance.
• Collaborate with APAC and global Compliance & Investigations teams, business units, and stakeholders to integrate compliance with business strategy.
• Educate employees and advise stakeholders on compliance matters, including new regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify weaknesses, risks, and areas of non-compliance.
• Support investigations from allegation to resolution, including root cause analysis.
• Drive evolution and improvement of IBM's compliance programs for efficiency, effectiveness, and business alignment.
