HVAC Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
• Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and e-commerce software tools
• Create quotes and respond to inbound queries and requests
• Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
• Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests
• Understand scope of HVAC work to bid
• Communicate with the engineering department on new and current projects
• Prepare comprehensive job take-offs, ensuring accuracy in project scope, materials, and specifications.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of commercial HVAC / Mechanical Contracting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Knowledge of bidding software
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments
• Ability to develop budgets and time lines
• Multi-tasker and Organized
• Great customer service and a team attitude
• Attention to detail an asset
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in HVAC estimating
• Works we'll on own or in a team environment
• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Knowledgeable in building and construction.
