Job Description
We are seeking an HR Compliance professional for the Infrastructure Industry with an in-depth understanding of labor laws and compliance management. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various acts, including The CL (RA) Act 1970, The EPF MP Act 1952, and The ESI Act 1948, as well as the BOCW Act. This role requires strong experience in employee and industrial relations, litigation, and contract labor management, along with fluency in English and Gujarati.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Legal & Statutory Compliance: Manage and ensure in-depth understanding of various acts, including The CL (RA) Act 1970, The EPF MP Act 1952, and The ESI Act 1948, and allied wage/salary laws, as well as the BOCW Act. Prepare and file statutory documents, returns, and forms with relevant authorities.
- Litigation & Union Management: Handle employee relations and industrial relations cases, including union negotiations and settlements. Manage disputes, grievances, and other labor law-related matters.
- Contract Labor Management: Oversee all aspects of contract labor management, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders for seamless management of labor resources.
- Policy & Procedure: Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislations. Provide guidance on HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements to internal teams.
- Liaising & Agreement Management: Build and maintain relationships with local authorities and government bodies. Vet agreements and Memoranda of Understanding to ensure alignment with statutory requirements.
Skills Required
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in employee relations, industrial relations, or labor law administration.
- Strong experience in dealing with unions and handling litigation.
- Proven expertise in labor law compliance and contract labor management.
- Strong computer literacy, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English and Gujarati is essential.
QUALIFICATION:
- A full-time MBA/MSW/MHRM/MLW is a key requirement.
