Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in local, regional, and national markets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Promote the hotel's services to potential clients, including meeting planners, corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Create and follow up on leads through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize long-term revenue potential.
- Meet regularly with clients to maintain rapport and understand their needs.
- Provide personalized service to clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Conduct hotel site inspections, presentations, and tailored proposals for clients, showcasing the hotel's facilities, services, and packages.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients in line with the hotel's guidelines and revenue targets.
- Track client feedback and ensure expectations are met during and after their stay or event.
- Market Research & Reporting:
- Monitor competitor activities and trends in the market.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, lead conversion, and performance.
- Present forecasts, sales updates, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Networking & Industry Representation:
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the hotel's reach and network.
- Represent the hotel at community events, industry gatherings, and networking opportunities to build visibility and drive sales.
- Collaboration with Marketing & Operations:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency in promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings, meetings, and events.
