Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in local, regional, and national markets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Promote the hotel's services to potential clients, including meeting planners, corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
  • Create and follow up on leads through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize long-term revenue potential.
  • Meet regularly with clients to maintain rapport and understand their needs.
  • Provide personalized service to clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
  • Conduct hotel site inspections, presentations, and tailored proposals for clients, showcasing the hotel's facilities, services, and packages.
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients in line with the hotel's guidelines and revenue targets.
  • Track client feedback and ensure expectations are met during and after their stay or event.
  • Market Research & Reporting:
  • Monitor competitor activities and trends in the market.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity, lead conversion, and performance.
  • Present forecasts, sales updates, and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Networking & Industry Representation:
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the hotel's reach and network.
  • Represent the hotel at community events, industry gatherings, and networking opportunities to build visibility and drive sales.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Operations:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency in promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings, meetings, and events.
