Hotel Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure familiarity with and strict compliance to the hotel's mission, standards, and policies while performing all maintenance and engineering activities.

Team Leadership & Performance Optimization

• Maximize the potential of the maintenance team by maintaining a balanced focus on operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and owner expectations.

Department Representation

• Represent the Engineering Department during daily HOD (Head of Department) morning meetings, providing updates on maintenance activities, issues, and priorities.

Planning & Scheduling

• Prioritize, plan, schedule, assign, and supervise engineering department staff to ensure effective utilization of resources and timely completion of tasks.

Maintenance Operations & Project Oversight

• Oversee routine maintenance activities, work orders, and special projects, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, safely, and within defined timelines.
