Job Description

As a hostess, you will greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, seat patrons at tables, provide menus, answer phones, and ensure a welcoming first impression while coordinating with servers for smooth service and maintaining the reception area's cleanliness. They are crucial to the front-of-house team, setting the tone for the dining experience and handling initial customer inquiries with professionalism. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Welcome: Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive.
  • Seating Management: Seat guests at appropriate tables, managing seating charts and flow.
  • Reservations & Waitlist: Take, confirm, and manage reservations and waiting lists.
  • Information Hub: Answer phone calls, provide menu information, and answer guest questions.
  • Table Readiness: Ensure dining areas are clean, set, and ready for guests.
  • Staff Coordination: Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about table status and guest needs.
  • Menu Presentation: Give guests menus and introduce them to their server.
  • Farewell: Thank guests as they leave.

  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and problem-solving skills. 
  • Attend calls for reservation and inform the serving staff and share the Guest list.
  • Generate Guest Database Cold calling to Guest.
  • Follow up with the guest as per the booking, informing and confirming their visit to hold the table.
