Job Description

 Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and other hospital areas to ensure patient and employee safety.
  • Empty waste baskets to eliminate hazards in the hospital.
  • Replenish soap and paper supplies to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Change sheets and linens in hospital rooms to meet patients' daily needs.
  • Make patients' beds in hospital wards.
  • Properly store housekeeping equipment and materials, including brushes, brooms, disinfectants, rags, and gloves.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning materials such as brooms, disinfectants, and toilet rolls.
  • Report issues regarding equipment or facilities, including floors, walls, rusty beds, and windows needing replacement.
  • Distribute clean towels and bed sheets to patients.
  • Ensure standard safety precautions are strictly followed in the health facility and cleaning chemicals are used as prescribed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in storage rooms for medical supplies and ensure essential housekeeping materials are always stocked.
