Horticulturist

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain indoor and outdoor growing systems (soil-based, hydroponics, vertical gardens, etc.)
• Conduct workshops and experiential learning sessions for children and families
• Monitor plant health and ensure sustainability practices are followed
• Collaborate with the education team to integrate nature and plant learning into museum programs
• Maintain inventory and manage lab equipment and supplies
• Train and guide interns, volunteers, or support staff in lab operations
