Support states in strengthening health planning and management practices at national, state, district, and block levels
Develop guidance notes and policy briefs related to health planning, program management, and Human Resources for Health
Review and analyze data shared by various branches and prepare detailed reports
Monitor recruitment processes and vacancy status regularly across states
Facilitate implementation of Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) and related departmental directives
Conduct regular field visits for monitoring and provide supportive supervision on planning and program management
Appraise Programme Implementation Plans (PIP) of states and provide recommendations based on NPCC decisions and NHM norms
Prepare concept notes for studies as per annual plans; conduct studies, collect data, analyze findings, and prepare high-quality reports
Provide technical assistance related to health systems strengthening
Maintain comprehensive databases of relevant documents and data within the allocated work area
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously to meet deadlines and reporting requirements
Utilize strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research
Apply excellent writing, analytical, and research skills, including knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Undertake additional assignments as assigned by the Reporting Officer
