Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
  • Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, with regular review, updates, and communication.
  • Ensure statutory obligations regarding health, safety, and welfare at work are met, including training and reporting requirements.
  • Complete and regularly review risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
  • Document, investigate, and implement improvements for all accidents.
  • Conduct safety inspections, manage fire drills and alarms, oversee risk assessments, and ensure employees understand their responsibilities.
  • Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
  • Maintain full and accurate health and safety training records.
  • Establish a comprehensive programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits, and checks.
  • Develop a structured health & safety training programme throughout the company.
  • Liaise with external health & safety consultants to provide training programmes and health & safety services.
  • Manage, chair, and formulate agendas and minutes for Health & Safety meetings.
