Head - Visual Arts
Job Description
1. Curriculum Development & Implementation: Lead the development and execution of the Visual Arts curriculum, allocating sufficient resources and prioritizing equitable focus and development.
2. Academic Quality Assurance: Drive high-quality Visual Arts education by monitoring curriculum delivery, evaluating teaching effectiveness, and leveraging assessment and feedback.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with zone academic managers and subject matter experts to drive academic success and operational excellence.
4. Resource Allocation: Ensure zones are adequately resourced with faculty, training materials, equipment, and other necessities for curriculum execution.
5. Event Oversight: Spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of Visual Arts events across all branches, ensuring a unified approach
6. Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to visual arts teams, empowering them to achieve departmental goals through strategic direction, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
7. Program Promotion: Ensure the VA curriculum and other related activities are actively promoted across schools and local communities. Work with the marketing team to create promotional material and content.
8. External Competitions: Encourage students to compete externally, promoting their successes and progress through strategic communication across zones and nationally.
9. Public Relations: Actively collaborate with the marketing team to create PR strategies to highlight major successes at the zonal and national levels.
10. Business Development: Catalyze organizational growth by pinpointing new business opportunities, forging alliances, and crafting strategies to draw in students and expand programs.
