Head - Tool Room

We are seeking a Head - Tool Room with extensive experience in tool design, manufacturing, and maintenance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a high-volume tool room, specialize in various sheet metal tooling solutions, and ensure operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

• Possess extensive hands-on experience in Tool Room operations, including the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of tools.
• Demonstrate success in developing over 500 tools annually.
• Hold specialized expertise in Press Tools, Progressive Tools, and various sheet metal tooling solutions.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge in the design and development of new tools.
• Be skilled in tool maintenance to ensure high performance and minimal downtime.
• Exhibit strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
• Be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and coordination.
• Be proficient in project management, ensuring timely completion of tool development and maintenance activities in line with project goals and deadlines.

Skills Required

• Tool Room Operations: Expertise in the full lifecycle of tool design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
• Specialized Tooling: In-depth knowledge of Press Tools, Progressive Tools, and sheet metal tooling.
• New Tool Development: Strong background in the design and development of new tools.
• Maintenance & Performance: Ability to perform tool maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Leadership: Proven skills in team leadership, mentoring, and management.
• Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams.
