Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Guidance:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the quality control team in areas such as Quality Management certifications, Nonconformance management, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Audits & Compliance:
  • Lead audits (e.g., Cross-site PCP, quality, and EHS audits) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and ensure compliance with company and business guidelines.
  • Quality KPIs & Performance:
  • Ensure achievement of defined quality KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and internal audit systems to meet ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Drive the ISO 9001:2015 certification process for new plants, including establishing a Quality Management System.
  • Sika Management System (SMS):
  • Maintain and keep up to date the Sika Management System (SMS) with the support of various process owners.
  • ISO Certification & Matrix Certification:
  • Cooperate with regional QA to plan and implement ISO Matrix certification as a multi-site assessment for relevant ISO standards.
  • Policy & Procedure Implementation:
  • Ensure quality policies and procedures are followed in line with the company's Quality Manual.
  • Inspection & Testing:
  • Supervise the incoming raw material inspection, intermediate product inspection, and finished product testing activities across all factories.
  • Ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
  • APAC QA Roadmap:
  • Ensure local implementation of the APAC QA Roadmap.
  • Quality Assurance Plans & Documentation:
  • Prepare and monitor quality assurance plans, procedures, and documentation for all factories.
  • Training & Development:
  • Ensure training and development of quality management, assurance, and control personnel.
  • Customer Complaints & Claims Handling:
  • Ensure proper implementation of the Sales Force claim module to support customer complaints and claims handling.
  • Calibration & Testing:
  • Ensure calibration of quality control equipment across all factories.
  • BIS Testing & Licensing:
  • Lead BIS-related testing and licensing activities.
  • New Packaging Development:
  • Support the development of new packaging materials in coordination with marketing services.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC):
  • Implement statistical process control to monitor quality deviations and advise proactive actions.
  • ERP Quality Record Maintenance:
  • Implement and maintain data hygiene for quality records in the ERP system.
