Head of Technology

Technical Leadership & Development

• Lead the overall product and technology strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget constraints.
• Drive the development of new features and enhancements for the FoodHeals Android app used by pediatric oncology nutritionists.
• Collaborate with third-party developers, designers, and internal teams to ensure app reliability, scalability, data security, and privacy compliance.
• Manage the organization's entire technical infrastructure including DMS, CRM, and other digital platforms.
• Implement app updates based on user feedback and latest pediatric oncology nutrition research.
• Drive integration of advanced technologies such as machine learning and generative AI to enhance app capabilities.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, coding practices, and development methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations such as HIPAA and ISO standards.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Transform complex clinical and operational data into actionable insights for various stakeholders.
• Design and implement automated reporting systems and customizable dashboards.
• Develop visualization tools and analytics solutions to monitor program effectiveness and enable data-driven decision making.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all technical systems.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with clinical, program, fundraising, and other internal teams to align technology solutions with organizational needs.
• Manage vendor relationships and external technology partnerships to support ongoing development and maintenance.
• Represent the organization and FoodHeals App at external events, presenting technology progress and impact.
• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to optimize system integration and usage.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor emerging technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improved functionality.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all systems.
• Manage technology budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in product management and technology leadership, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven expertise in mobile app development, especially Android, Java, and system integrations.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide systems including DMS and CRM.
• Strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI.
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security compliance standards (HIPAA, ISO).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including product, design, engineering.
