Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

Develop and execute strategic plans for IT infrastructure and cyber security in alignment with organizational goals.
Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure and cyber security teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategies with business objectives.
Manage end to end development and growth of talent.

Infrastructure Management:

Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT infrastructure to support business operations.
Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure-related services and products.
Drive simplification and automation of processes.

Cyber Security Oversight:

Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
Monitor the security landscape and stay updated on the latest threats and vulnerabilities.
Lead incident response efforts and manage the resolution of security breaches and vulnerabilities.
Drive simplification and automation of processes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to IT infrastructure and cyber security.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Budget and Resource Management:

Prepare and manage budgets for IT infrastructure and cyber security initiatives.
Responsible for Financial management of the team and function.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful implementation of projects and maintenance activities.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Implement performance monitoring tools and practices to ensure the optimal operation of IT systems.
Management of metrics and key performance indicators to improve IT operations
Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance and security posture for senior management.
Analyse metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cyber security roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven track record of managing complex IT environments and security frameworks.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, cloud services, and virtualization.
In-depth understanding of cyber security principles, threat landscape, and security technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
