Hadoop Admin

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Hadoop clusters, ensuring their optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
• Perform routine cluster maintenance activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support data processing workflows within the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Continuously monitor Hadoop cluster health, resource utilization, and job performance, taking proactive measures to address issues.
• Document administration procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Hadoop Administration.
• Good communication skills.
• Good analytical skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with tool upgrades in Cloud environments.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
