Job Description
- Conduct annual and routine examinations to diagnose gynecological conditions.
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories.
- Advise patients on appropriate birth control and reproductive health options.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies.
- Explain test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries such as cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettage, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations.
- Refer patients to other healthcare specialists when necessary.
- Educate patients on reproductive health issues, preventive care, and disease prevention.
