Golang Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Golang Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Golang applications through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Golang applications.
• Identify and document defects, issues, and inconsistencies in software products.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.
• Automate testing processes and improve testing efficiency through scripting and tools.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and reliability.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably with Golang applications.
• Proficiency in writing automated tests using testing frameworks such as Go testing, Ginkgo, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic understanding of database technologies and writing SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
