General Manager - Rice Sales

Responsibilities:

• Head retail/ modern trade/ rice sales in Eastern India
• Develop strategy to introduce our brands in new markets
• Develop strategy to increase sales in existing markets
• Be responsible for the p/l of packed rice sales
• Track performance of our brands compared to other brands in the market
• Adapt constantly to the changing requirements of the consumers & the market.
• Communicate with the production teams on requirements of sales teams in different regions
• Be responsible for overall sales operations.

Essential Skills:

• Significant experience in rice/ packed product sales in Eastern India
• Need enough business acumen to develop strategies for increased sales
• Need to have entrepreneurial & risk taking ability
• Strong knowledge in costing and P&L
• Strong managerial & team handling skills
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Must be proficient in Hindi.
