General Manager - Projects

• Lead and manage the execution of a Brownfield/Greenfield Cement Project, ensuring completion on time and within budget from initiation to commissioning.
• Oversee contractors and internal teams to ensure flawless project execution, maintaining equipment efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental standards.
• Ensure the correct installation of machinery with utmost priority given to occupational health and safety (OH&S).
• Identify and manage contractors and manpower to ensure timely and safe project execution.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among engineering teams and stakeholders to drive project performance.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Stay updated with cement industry trends, technologies, and project management best practices.

What Were Looking For

• Education: B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering from a top-rated university.
• Experience: 2025 years in cement plant upgradations or capacity expansion projects involving advanced machinery and equipment.
• Leadership: 1015 years of experience in project management and team leadership.
• Age: 45–50 years.
• Skills: Strong project management, people management, and communication skills with the ability to handle multi-tasking and complex problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.
• Proven ability to work with diverse teams and ensure smooth execution of departmental and organizational goals.
• Strong understanding of safety best practices for incident-free operations.
