General Duty Assistant Nursing Services

Aster Medcity is seeking a compassionate General Duty Assistant – Nursing Services at Aster MIMS Kannur to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in patient care, support physicians and nurses, and ensure the well-being and comfort of patients during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and record patients' behavior, vital signs, and overall condition.
• Assist in coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to implement customized care plans.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, creating a harmonious care environment.
• Assist in diagnosing patient conditions by monitoring symptoms and reporting relevant information to medical staff.
• Maintain accurate medical histories, monitor changes in patient conditions, and update records accordingly.
• Carry out treatments, administer medications, and assist in routine nursing procedures under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety, hygiene, and comfort at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of nursing practices and patient care protocols.
• Ability to observe, document, and report patient information accurately.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and empathetic approach to care.
