Job Description
- Patient Examination & Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess symptoms and medical conditions.
- Diagnose a variety of medical conditions based on patient history, physical examination, and diagnostic results.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Treatment & Medication Management:
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments based on patient diagnoses.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
- Diagnostic Tests & Imaging:
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, X-rays, MRIs) to assist in diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Review medical images to identify abnormalities and make informed clinical decisions.
- Emergency Care:
- Provide first aid and stabilize patients in emergency situations.
- Make quick decisions in critical situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Medical Documentation:
- Document patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and progress in comprehensive and accurate medical records.
- Ensure all records comply with legal and regulatory standards for documentation and confidentiality.
- Collaborative Care:
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings for complex cases.
- Confidentiality & Patient Privacy:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) at all times.
- Ensure patient records and personal data are stored and shared securely.
