GCP Data Engineer

Required Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on Experience in GCP Data Components:
• BigQuery
• Data Fusion
• Cloud SQL
• Data Management:
• Understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Experience in Data Architecture design and Implementation on GCP.
• Project Management & Lifecycle:
• Manage DevOps lifecycle of projects (Code Repository, Build, Release).
• End-to-end BI Landscape knowledge (good to have).
• Testing & Requirement Understanding:
• Participate in unit and integration testing.
• Interaction with business users for requirement understanding and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Data Security & Compliance:
• Understanding of Data Security and Data Compliance requirements.
• Methodologies & Documentation:
• Agile understanding and experience.
• Knowledge of Project Documentation processes.
• Technical Skills:
• Good SQL knowledge.
• Python knowledge (good to have).
• Snowflake knowledge (good to have).
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications (good to have).
• Industry Knowledge:
• Domain knowledge of different industry sectors.
• Leadership:
• Experience in a lead role.
• Good communication skills.
