Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities: Skillset:
Good understanding of ISO 26262. 'Road vehicles - Functional safety' and its methodologies
Should have worked for minimum 2-3 years in Automotive Functional Safety
Knowledge of Functional Safety life cycle as per ISO26262 Hazard analyses Risk Assessment Functional Safety requirements Technical Safety requirements Safety at Software Hardware Level
Should have experience of working on safety analysis like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis) for system / software / hardware
Should have experience of Hardware Architecture metrics (FMEDA) and PMHF analysis as per ISO26262 requirements.
Experience with embedded software development using C, should be able to understand software codes and functional flow
Good understanding of Vehicle dynamics control system behavior
Ready to work on any phase of functional safety life cycle.
Should have knowledge of how to operate as interface between cross functional departments for safety related activities
Should prepare project safety status report for weekly review
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Systematic problem solving skills Should have experience in conducting Functional Safety Audit Key Skills: Same as roles and responsibilities
- Mandatory Skills:
- Experience with embedded software development using C, should be able to understand software codes and functional flow

Preferable Skills: Preferred:
- Better to have knowledge of automotive safety products, especially in airbag control units, ADAS system with Vision and Radar as sensor.
