Fund Services. Tax Senior Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Senior Accountant to provide US tax compliance services for our private equity and hedge fund clients. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong accounting background who is comfortable working with tax computations, financial analysis, and investor reporting. You'll be a key part of the tax department, working on a variety of projects and collaborating with other areas of the firm to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance & Reporting:
• Provide US tax compliance services for private equity funds, hedge funds, and investment partnership clients.
• Work on the computation of taxable income and tax adjustments, including security analysis, tax allocations, and the preparation of US tax forms.
• Analyze transactions for US tax consequences.
• Handle tax reporting for investors and manage tax filings.
• Investor Services:
• Contribute to the timely delivery of Schedule K-1s to investors.
• Collaboration & Projects:
• Interface with other areas of the firm to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Work on various projects within the tax department, gaining cross-training and assisting in special projects as necessary.
• Deliver a high-quality product in all tasks.

About You

• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Skills:
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
• Strong skills in using MS Excel, including comfort with formulas, an understanding of macros, and proficiency in pivot tables.
• An intuitive and quick study of various software applications.
