Job Description

The recruiter will be responsible for all levels of talent acquisition, recruiting, and recruitment programs, procedures, and plans. As a consultant and partner, the recruiter will stay current on business and market trends, assisting both strategically and tactically. The recruiter will possess a strong understanding of client needs and hiring conditions, both external and internal. They will provide advice, expertise, and assistance to all levels of personnel, internal and external, on various recruiting and talent acquisition-related issues. The recruiter will serve as a trusted member of the Global HR organization, driving great partnerships with internal and external customers. This role will involve sourcing and candidate generation for hiring managers across multiple teams, organizations, and locations. To succeed in this role, the recruiter must be able to manage, prioritize, and close searches within a timeline, set benchmarks, and understand how to prioritize to meet all customer service level agreements (SLAs). They will thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with a hands-on approach to getting the job done.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, managing customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
  • Recruit passive candidates, with the mentality to profile people, gauge chemistry, and understand their motivation, rather than simply selling a role.
  • Screen and interview candidates within the position specifications framework and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with hiring managers and the interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that contribute to the long-term growth of the company; implement new processes and fine-tune standard recruiting processes.
  • Provide a great candidate experience and act as a candidate advocate.
  • Develop a written plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessing best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging internal sources of talent, and identifying top performers for senior-level openings.

Basic Qualifications

  • Graduate from a reputable university.
  • 0-4 years of prior work experience.
  • Working knowledge of social media recruiting and current market trends.
  • Ability to source business/tech talent, with prior experience hiring for roles such as Product, Program, Sales, Tech Engineering, and senior leadership positions.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale workflows between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as a team leader and member.
