Food Safety Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct food safety audits at the AWL Warehouse at least once a month or as required, and at AWL distributor locations as needed, in accordance with ISO 22000, FSSAI Schedule 4, and other relevant standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to food safety, including SOPs, manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Provide food safety training to AWL depot staff and the Sales team to ensure awareness and compliance.
• Monitor and verify activities to ensure that the handling of AWL food products consistently meets food safety standards.
• Act as the responsible and authorized person to issue clearance or rejection certificates during the selection of warehouses, in compliance with FSSAI Schedule 4.
• Conduct audits of transporters in accordance with FSSAI norms for food vehicle selection and hygiene standards.
• Serve as the lead for product recall communications and regulatory inspections. Define and assign microbial guidelines and specifications for all food products.
