Fiserv Tester

• Responsible for key aspects of software testing and quality assurance best practices including test planning and preparation May perform test execution
• Mid-size to Large projects that may have interfaces to systems outside of a specific portfolio
• Support to Leads the testing lifecycle for medium to large development efforts in the operation of testing services Support to
• Develops the Master Test Plan agreement and associated testing strategies iteratively through the testing lifecycle
• May lead and/or conduct the execution phase and defect resolution efforts
• Ensures test cases map to and are in sync with all requirement types

• Performs analysis and makes recommendations related to testing efforts to reduce cost
• Ensures all testing best practices have been incorporated into the testing lifecycle
• Proactively shares knowledge of testing risks and opportunities
• Support to Provides risk plan and recommendations relative to the business testing strategy
• Support to Maintains a high proficiency level of understanding in one or more business domains
• Maintains a high proficiency level of understanding in one or more application domain portfolios
• General understanding of the Business Capability Framework into the testing process
• Participates in reverse engineering efforts to harvest legacy testing
• Vendor business and application domain knowledge transfer back to Target
• Maintain the Regression testing script library plus drive the development of candidates for automation
• Lead Defect Prevention [ie defect root cause analysis] best practices by providing upstream Business Technology Teams, Delivery Services and Project Management Office with education and process improvement recommendations to ensure failed practices do not repeat themselves
• Collaborate with Fiserv Team of Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Proficient with Python, Automation and Selenium Proficient with Power Curve for credit applications
• Reviewing requirements and functional specifications and providing feedback to the project team
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1 3 years of experience in test analysis
• Proven experience in UAT or a similar role Experience in test techniques and programming
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• The ability to track and write articulate reports on technical assessments
• Working knowledge of test management software (eg qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Excellent communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

JOB Role:

• PMPMid Role-PMPCollaborating with cross functional teams and vendor to address and resolve defects efficiently
• Tracking defects, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, communicating defect status, trends and resolutions to internal teams and PWC
• Analyse defects to determine root causes and impacts on project timelines and deliverables
• Driving conversations and holding meetings with vendor and internal teams on defect logs and requirements
• Project Managing the defects and driving them to closure effectively
