FinOps Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Azure cloud usage and spending, providing insights, forecasts, and optimization strategies.
• Implement FinOps best practices aligned with Azure environments.
• Develop cost forecasting models and manage budgeting using Azure Cost Management and Azure Monitor.
• Design and implement cost allocation and chargeback models for Azure resources.
• Provide financial reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Azure architects and engineering teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Conduct cost audits and recommend optimization strategies such as rightsizing and eliminating unused resources.
• Automate cost tracking and reporting using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and scripting tools.
• Mentor teams and provide guidance on Azure FinOps best practices.
