Financial Research Analyst – Fundamental Equities

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of assigned stocks under active coverage.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for covered companies.
• Track news flows, summarize sell-side analyst views, and monitor earnings and other key catalysts.
• Perform comprehensive valuations, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Conduct benchmarking of financial and operational metrics against peers.
• Collaborate closely with front-office teams to refine research insights and iterate on financial models.
• Participate in calls with company management, intermediaries, and sector experts.
• Develop deep expertise in assigned industry sectors.
• Over time, take responsibility for delivering comprehensive, end-to-end equity research coverage.

Qualification Criteria

Basic Qualifications:

• MBA, CFA, CA, or an equivalent qualification in finance.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in equity research.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a sector-agnostic research role, covering companies across diverse industries and geographies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience covering the North American (NAM) energy sector is strongly preferred.
