Financial Controller – LEC Reporting Function

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Financial Controller to support and manage the Local Entity Control (LEC) reporting process. The role will involve driving accurate and compliant financial reporting, supporting business-as-usual (BAU) tasks, and contributing to system improvement initiatives in alignment with global accounting standards and governance practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: CA or MBA in Finance.
• Experience: Prior experience managing LEC reporting functions and financial controls.
• Expertise in:
• Financial reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS, and German GAAP
• Monthly book closure and preparation of financial statements per local statutory requirements
• Variance analysis (MoM and QoQ) and preparing executive review decks
• Process documentation, UAT, and system enhancement initiatives
• Skills:
• High level of accuracy and structured problem-solving
• Strong self-review, escalation, and issue investigation ability
• Excellent communication and coordination across departments

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close activities and ensure accurate reporting under applicable GAAP standards.
• Prepare financial statements and review packs, highlighting key variances on a MoM and QoQ basis.
• Ensure robust financial control and governance practices are consistently applied.
• Support ongoing BAU finance operations, focusing on efficiency and compliance.
• Contribute to projects involving automation, system migration, and enhancement, including UAT and business requirement documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to align finance and IT processes.
• Uphold high standards of accuracy, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
