Job Description
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting mechanisms for all projects
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards
- Collaborate with program managers and department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and organizational decision-making
- Manage grant accounting and ensure compliance with donor requirements
- Prepare utilisation reports for individual projects
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and the board
- Assist in preparation of audited financial statements and coordinate external audits
