Finance Analyst

We are seeking a proactive Finance Analyst to work in a global, collaborative, and agile environment. This role is crucial for supporting a development department with financial and reporting work, including monthly reporting and strategic projects. The ideal candidate will use their strong analytical skills to provide in-depth analyses and actionable recommendations to management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with key stakeholders to support monthly reporting and strategic projects.
• Support a development department with various financial and reporting tasks, including project work and operational tasks.
• Contribute to accurate rolling forecasts and keep track of actual cost development.
• Perform in-depth analyses to derive actionable recommendations for the management level.
• Efficiently control and monitor monthly reports, such as operating expenses.
• Create monthly PowerPoint presentations on ongoing business development.
• Supervise extensive projects and plan and execute training programs for team colleagues.
• Participate in the development of existing reports and the expansion of the reporting system.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes.
• Carry out general administrative tasks.

Skills Required

• A completed commercial training with several years of professional experience or a completed Bachelor's degree; a Master's is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and an interdisciplinary way of thinking.
• Advanced Excel skills are a must; macro knowledge is a plus.
• A proactive, 'getting-things-done' mentality.
• A structured and strategic approach to tasks and a problem-solving orientation.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Basic knowledge of SAP and BW is a plus.
• High learning agility and strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently, be well-organized, and have a structured working approach.
• A keen eye for details and an aptitude for working with data in an agile environment.
• The ability to think outside the box to creatively resolve development problems.
• A good team player who can work in a multi-functional and cross-cultural environment.
• Strong storytelling skills and visual understanding.
