Field Service Engineer
Job Description
• Install, commission, validate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Beckman Coulter Life Sciences instruments at customer sites.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and application issues, providing timely resolutions, upgrades, and modifications.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers, providing application support, user training, and guidance on instrument operation.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including reports, installation records, and PM checklists in CRM/service systems, ensuring compliance with quality and EHS standards.
• Build and sustain long-term customer relationships to support retention and service contract renewals.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate service visits with sales, applications, and logistics teams, including participation in on-call or standby support.
• Follow Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and continuous improvement practices to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
