Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition: Source new customers from open markets through cold calls, references, self-sourcing, and lead generation activities.
- CASA Account Opening: Facilitate the opening of Current and Savings Accounts by guiding customers through the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation and KYC requirements are met.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales and productivity targets set by the bank.
- Field Sales: Conduct on-ground sales activities in assigned territory, including visiting markets, residential areas, corporate parks, and participating in canopy activities or promotional events.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business, referrals, and long-term banking relationships.
- Cross-Selling: Promote and sell additional financial products such as insurance, loans, debit/credit cards, and digital banking solutions to deepen customer engagement.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities, leads generated, calls made, accounts opened, and customer interactions. Update CRM systems and submit reports to the reporting manager regularly.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance guidelines during the account opening and sales process.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of competitor offerings, customer preferences, and market dynamics to provide feedback and suggest improvements in products or sales strategy.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Graduate in any stream (mandatory).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in banking, financial services, or field sales.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, customer orientation, and ability to handle objections effectively.
- Attitude: Positive, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Mobility: Willingness to work in the field and travel within assigned territory.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in local language and basic English is preferred.
