Job Description

As a Pharmaceutical Field Sales Manager, you will lead a team of representatives to drive drug sales by setting targets, training staff, building relationships with doctors/hospitals, analyzing market data, ensuring compliance, and creating strategies to boost prescriptions and market share, overseeing a specific region. Key tasks include recruiting, performance monitoring, coaching, reporting, and coordinating with marketing to expand customer base and achieve growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and manage a team of medical representatives (MRs).
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement plans to meet sales targets, expand market presence, and identify new opportunities.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, chemists, and key healthcare influencers.
  • Performance Management: Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, conduct field visits with reps, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Market Insight: Conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, and stay updated on new products and industry trends.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Generate sales reports, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, supply chain, and technical teams to align strategies and support product launches. 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Sales, Business, Management).
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales and team leadership.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of pharma products and the healthcare landscape.
  • Ability to achieve targets, build networks, and problem-solve.
