Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Field Account Manager LE to drive sales results for mid-size and large accounts in a defined territory. This role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships in emerging market segments such as med devices, EV, and semiconductors, alongside our existing market segments. An essential part of this position is the active use of a CRM system, such as SFDC, to manage all sales activities and customer interactions to achieve targets.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
- Promote our products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with our market and growth strategy.
- Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, and all customer interactions, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
- Actively drive newly launched products and services into the marketplace and follow up on the successful implementation of sales activities.
- Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, and suggest products and services as appropriate.
- Develop and implement account plans, coordinating resources to align with these plans.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to create higher market perception and gain new business.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in the assigned territory.
- Continuously assess the potential of each customer and develop a plan to realize it into business.
- Manage and build strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- An academic degree in life sciences or engineering. A higher level of education is beneficial.
- Extensive field sales experience, with a preference for a laboratory or process-based background in Life Science.
Skills
- Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented, with the capacity to work independently.
- Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
- Proven software skills, including Microsoft Office.
