Responsibilities

• Develop and create original clothing designs that reflect current fashion trends.
• Research and analyze fashion trends and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and merchandising to ensure design viability.
• Prepare sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Select fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for designs, ensuring quality and style are maintained.
• Oversee the fitting process and make necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit and finish.
• Present design concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in fashion design or a related area.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Strong understanding of textiles, color theory, and garment construction.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
