Extrusion Blow Molding-Production, Maintenance, Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Production:

• Operate and monitor Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM) machines (automatic and semi-automatic).
• Plan and execute daily production schedules as per customer requirements.
• Achieve production targets by optimizing cycle time, minimizing wastage, and reducing rejection levels.
• Conduct regular quality checks and coordinate with QA team to maintain product standards.
• Support new product trials, mold changeovers, and optimize machine settings.
• Maintain production records, downtime logs, rejection reports, and daily MIS reports.

Maintenance:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and periodic inspection of EBM machines.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
• Handle mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues related to machines.
• Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for major repairs.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Continuous Improvement & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and good housekeeping practices.
• Participate in TPM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and guide operators and junior engineers on machine operations and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as QA, Maintenance, and Tool Room for smooth plant operations.
