Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation:
- Identify and target new business opportunities, including leads and potential clients, through cold calls, emails, networking, and market research.
- Promote and sell the company's products/services to clients, ensuring the achievement of individual and team sales targets.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing sales, ensuring a smooth and effective sales cycle.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to match their requirements, providing exceptional service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support in a professional manner, resolving issues promptly.
- Market Research and Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth in the sales pipeline.
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to help refine strategies.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management, outlining progress toward targets and identifying potential challenges.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales team to share best practices, strategies, and insights that can improve team performance.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Customer Support) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services, staying informed about new features or offerings.
- Attend sales training sessions and product knowledge workshops to enhance sales skills and product expertise.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Experience in lead generation, customer acquisition, and meeting sales targets is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence clients.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is an advantage.
