Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Executive with a background in the hotel industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct job fairs, campus recruitment, and other initiatives to attract top talent.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Work closely with department heads to create and implement career development plans.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and hotel industry regulations.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and standards.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee the performance appraisal process.
  • Provide support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews.
  • Work with employees to create and implement performance improvement plans as needed.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure smooth administration and resolve employee inquiries.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on key HR indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Executive in the hotel industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
