Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Executive with a background in the hotel industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates.
- Conduct job fairs, campus recruitment, and other initiatives to attract top talent.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees at all levels.
- Work closely with department heads to create and implement career development plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and hotel industry regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and standards.
Performance Management:
- Implement and oversee the performance appraisal process.
- Provide support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Work with employees to create and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure smooth administration and resolve employee inquiries.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for management on key HR indicators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Executive in the hotel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
