Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Training and Development: Train, develop, and motivate supervisors and culinary staff to consistently meet and exceed established food preparation standards.
- Recipe Adherence and Culinary Improvement: Teach preparation according to well-defined recipes and implement continuous improvements in cuisine quality and presentation.
- Leadership and Work Environment: Demonstrate exceptional leadership by fostering a positive work environment, counselling employees when needed, and maintaining a dedicated and professional approach to management.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Provide direction for all day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Employee Position Knowledge: Understand all kitchen roles sufficiently to perform duties in the absence of employees or determine appropriate replacements to maintain operational flow.
- Performance Management: Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, set performance standards, monitor performance, and ensure accountability across the kitchen team.
