Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and business KPI apps.
• Create data models using appropriate Power BI relationships to enable robust report design.
• Use DAX for custom calculations and advanced data manipulation.
• Apply Power Query to extract, transform, and cleanse data.
• Manage integration with various data sources including databases, cloud services, APIs.
• Utilize SQL for data extraction, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures.
• Implement security using row-level security, object-level security, and distribution lists.
• Connect data via gateways and XMLA endpoints.
• Build optimized dashboards for large datasets (20M+ records).
• Integrate Power Platform components (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint) to support reporting needs.

Data Analysis and Interpretation

• Collaborate with business partners to understand reporting needs and analytical requirements.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and key insights.
• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support strategic decision-making through timely and accurate report delivery.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.

Data Integration and Management

• Execute ETL activities to ensure data quality and completeness.
• Ensure transparency and integrity in data collection and collation.
• Own data quality to drive evidence-based decision making.
• Adhere to BP policies and proactively flag any key data issues.
• Promote standard data management principles and tools.
• Identify and execute process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Deliver Power BI training to end users and stay updated on latest best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Power BI performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in data analytics or client-service-related function.
• Proven ability in data mining, processing, and analytics using large datasets.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, complex graphs) and Power BI (data modeling, Power Query, DAX).
• Skilled in SQL and working with data warehouses.
• Experience working cross-culturally and in international environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications in Power BI or Power Platform (preferred).
