Estimation & Design Manager

The Estimation & Design Manager will oversee the estimation and design processes for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements while leading a team of estimators and designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation and design team in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed design proposals.
• Develop and maintain estimation templates and design standards to improve efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies during the estimation phase.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design and estimation activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in estimation and design management in construction or engineering.
• Proficient in estimation software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for preparing accurate estimates and designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
