ESRE apps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ESRE Apps Engineer with a strong background in troubleshooting, monitoring, and production support for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in log analysis (OpenSearch), APM tools (AppDynamics), UI debugging, and issue triaging . Experience in front-end UI/UX development and a good understanding of backend services will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize log analysis tools (OpenSearch) and Application Performance Management (APM) tools (AppDynamics) for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Use developer tools and browser plug-ins to troubleshoot UI-related issues effectively.
• Analyze functional and technical KPIs , and build visualizations and dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Handle full-cycle production support , including issue triage, incident management, and problem resolution .
• Lead a technical team in resolving critical production issues and ensuring system stability.
• Organize and track multiple issues efficiently, ensuring timely resolution.
• Replicate, test, and debug reported issues using advanced problem-solving skills .
• Maintain clear documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX front-end software development .
• 2+ years of hands-on production support experience , including monitoring and troubleshooting .
• 1+ year of experience with UI frameworks/libraries like Vue.js, Angular, or React .
• Good understanding of Node.js API development .
• Familiarity with Java/J2EE and e-commerce web applications is preferred.
• Experience working with multi-tier web architecture and UI design .
• Strong knowledge of REST API utilization or design .
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git/SVN).
• Understanding of web best practices (browser capabilities, unit/integration testing).
• Hands-on experience in setting up monitoring & alerting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills .

Good to Have:

• Experience in backend development with Java or Node.js.
• Exposure to containerization and cloud technologies.
• Experience in automating monitoring and alerting solutions .
